Keeping IP Clean: Last Chance Laundry Offers New Service to Local Businesses

Island Park will have a new laundry service for businesses and individuals to use this summer. Last Chance Laundry hopes to open their doors next month.

Last Chance Laundry will offer a service never before offered in the area. The service, owned by Lance and Amber Boyce and managed by their daughter Ainsley Boyce, will wash and dry all sheets and laundry for business owners in Island Park who produce a large amount of laundry in sheets and towels for guests who come to visit this beautiful part of the country near Yellowstone National Park.

"There's not anything equivalent to this in Island Park," Ainsley Boyce said.

The laundry mat, located across from Trout Hunter in the Last Chance area, will offer two different services. One will be a laundry mat for individuals in the area to use to do their laundry. This will give Island Park residents a laundry mat both on the south side and the north side of Island Park.

The second part will offer a laundering service to local businesses who often have to clean a large amount of sheets and towels for guests. Last Chance Laundry will offer a 12 month subscription service that will include having all sheets cleaned and delivered and ready to go.

Boyce got the idea for the new laundry service after her parents had purchased several small cabins in Island Park that she managed.

"I know what a headache it is to do laundry," Boyce said. "Cleaners are there till midnight or 1am just doing laundry."

After she traveled to other areas of the country and world she saw they all offered this kind of laundry service that didn't exist in the tourist area near Yellowstone.

"It means no more stress on you guys," Boyce said. "We have triple the amount of sheets that are actually needed. When we pick up your dirty linens we turn around and give you fresh linens so you're not waiting."

The new laundry service will be at Cafe Sabor May 16, 17 and 18 offering a free lunch to educate the community and cleaners and property managers on the new service.
