June 7

Ashton

An ambulance was sent for an elderly woman having a hard time breathing on 1200 North.

Island Park 

A truck slid down a steep embankment and needed a tow.

A vehicle was speeding headed south on Highway 20.

An ambulance was called for an elderly man who fell and hit his head on a rock while setting up their RV spot. 

Tire debris was called in in the northbound lane on Highway 20 near the chick creek pullout.

A single vehicle accident was reported near Rainbow Realty in which the man hit his head on the windshield.

Six or seven motorcyclists were reported for reckless driving headed North on Highway 20.

June 8

Ashton

Police assisted the Salt Lake Police Department when they pulled over someone driving a vehicle registered to a person residing in Marysville. Police requested to speak to the owner of the vehicle to see if he allowed the person to drive the car or not. 

A person called police to report an illegally parked vehicle in Grandview Campground. The person reported the vehicle was blocking the kiosk and billboard. 

A car was reported on fire in the engine area on Highway 20.

A welfare check was called in for a young woman running down Main Street barefoot crying and screaming carrying a baby. 

Island Park

Homeowners of a home on Joseph Drive dug a trench across the road and a contractor doing work  couldn't get his equipment across it. 

June 9

Island Park

A car ran off the road on Highway 20.

Police responded to an accident on Highway 20 in which a woman was injured. The person who called told police they were headed to the Island Park clinic and her husband was very angry.

A truck was passing on the yellow line, speeding and ran 2 cars off the road on Highway 287.

An ambulance was called for a 62 year old woman with chest pain and heavy breathing with a history of a heart attack.

A boat was spilling gas off a truck pulling the boat on Highway 20.

Police assisted a person in a truck stuck in a mud pit on Old Chick Creek Road.

Police assisted two vehicles with flat tires stuck in the middle of Highway 20. 

Ashton

A semi almost caused an accident near Macks Inn driving recklessly and speeding toward Ashton.

An ambulance was called for a person with breast and bone cancer who was too weak to get up and was alone.

An ambulance was called for a 55 year old woman having an allergic reaction with a swollen tongue.

An accident occurred on Cherry Street and Highway 20.

June 10

Island Park

A dead elk was on Highway 87 on the middle line.

An ambulance was called for an 87 year old woman on blood thinners who had cut her forehead and broken her finger on Snake River Road.

Someone was arrested for a fish and game violation at the Big Springs Boat Dock. 

A welfare check was called for an unstable employee at a restaurant having hallucinations on Quakie Lane.

Police responded to a man who said he wanted to crash his car in order to stop the voices he was hearing. 

An rollover accident happened on Yale Kilgore Road.

Ashton

A woman called police to tell them her contractor had done no work and took rocks from her and her neighbors property on Juniper Loop. 

A fender bender was reported on Highway 20.

A death of a 55 year old man was reported on 1300 North.

A loose dog on Idaho Street kept trashing a home. 

A vehicle traveling south on Highway 20 wasn't able to stay in his or her lane. 

June 11

Island Park

An accident was reported near Ora Bridge. 

A welfare check was called in for an employee not answering his or her door and not responding. 

An arrest was made for DUI. 

A person hiking on Big Bend Trail found a pistol. 

A person illegally camping at the Island Park Dam was telling people they had to leave and couldn't fish there.

Ashton

Police assisted a driver who was halfway up the Ashton hill and blocking a lane of traffic.

A reckless driver was called in heading north on Highway 20. 

A stray dog was running around chasing animals and chickens.


June 12

Island Park

A neighbor was dumping garbage in a neighbors garbage can on Chinook Drive.

June 13

Ashton

Police assisted a driver at the weight station on Highway 20. 

A sex offense was called in on Highland Street.
