Ashton

A dead deer was reported across Highway 20 in the Northbound Lane at the bottom of the Ashton hill. 

Someone backed into a power box and knocked out heating at the Junior High School.

An unknown vehicle was reported parked at the end of someone's driveway for 10 days on 700 North.

Police responded to residences on Whispering Pines for an argument between 2 neighbors and a dog who kept whining at the neighbor's door at night.

Kids were reported sledding into the road at Macks Inn.

Police assisted someone locked in Sawtelle to work on the tower with a key that didn't work.

Extra patrol was requested for a residence on Highway 87 to be on the lookout for possible hunters trespassing on snowmobiles.

Someone called to let police know a vehicle driving up Ashton hill was driving at a low speed back and forth and into the oncoming lane.

An arrest was made on 3600 N.

A truck pulling a snowmobile trailer slid off the road on Highway 20.

Ashton

A person in a truck shot a gun out their window on Highway 47 while headed to Marysville. When confronted they told the person to mind his or her own business.

Ashton

A 16-year-old girl and her 13-year-old sister were reported missing after their parent woke up to find them not in their bedroom. The older girl had a history of being in trouble and charges against her and had recently begun a friendship with a 17-year-old girl. 

Island Park

Two ice fisherman fishing on Henrys Lake parked their snowmobiles on someone property.

A cow was reported on Highway 20. 

Search and Rescue and police responded to 6 snowmobilers lost off Black Canyon Road. The snowmobilers were dressed properly and had a fire going but had been trying to find their way off the mountain for four hours.

Island Park

Police responded to a death of a 49-year-old woman visiting family for Thanksgiving.

A snowmachine side swiped a truck off South Big Springs Loop Road.

Someone reported a big black snowmachine ramp in the middle of Highway 20 blocking the southbound lane.

Nov 27

Ashton

A truck who had to pass another vehicle on Highway 20 was driving erratically and ran the other vehicle off the road when passing. He slowed down after passing and threw snow on the other vehicle. 

Island Park

An arrest was made on Highway 20 for possession of a controlled substance.

An arrest was made for a DUI on Highway 20 after a truck was failing to maintain his lane.

Four slide offs were reported on Highway 20. 

An arrest was made at the Macks Inn area for possession of a controlled substance. 

Police responded to a multi car pileup on the flats.
