May 23 

Ashton

Dogs tore up a man's fence and ate his chickens on 1200 North. 

An accident happened in front of Frostop on Highway 20.

Island Park

An arrest was made when a vehicle drove through a construction area and clipped a worker in the leg.

Police were sent to patrol an area off Cowan Road after someone called in people skeet shooting in the area near traffic and cabins.

May 24

Ashton

Police helped a driver with a blown out tire south of Harriman State Park. 

Cows were out on Highway 20.

A mother was acting strange and hitting her son on 3675 East.

A 12 year old girl was running down Main Street with no shoes carrying something.

An ambulance was called for a 91 year old woman who fell and hit her head.

Island Park

Police were called to help when an argument started on Basalt Street.

Police were called to help a stalled motorist at the corner of Highways 20 and 87.

Someone hit an animal on Highway 20. 

May 25

Ashton

An ambulance was called for an 83 year old male who fell, hit his head and was losing a lot of blood.

Dogs got into someone's chickens again on 1200 North.

Someone fraudulently used a financial card at North Fremont High School.

Island Park

Officers patrolled Targhee Row in order to stop multiple speeding vehicles in the area.

A man called police because the Pinehaven planning board came onto his property and up and stole his septic tank. 

A green flatbed pickup truck was submerged in a pond on the South end of Last Chance next to the Welcome to Island Park sign. 

Police arrested a person on Highway 20 for possession of a controlled substance after they kept swerving out of their lane. 

Police were called when one of three friends in a kayak on Henry's Lake was in the water and the friends couldn't see him. After calling the friends found him and got him back into the kayak.

Someone called in seeing smoke on North Yale Kilgore Road.

Someone hit an animal on Highway 87.

May 26

Ashton

An accident was reported on Main Street.

A vehicle hit a deer on Highway 20.

A semi pulling doubles was tailgating and flashing other vehicles and swerving on the road.

Island Park

Someone called in a vehicle weaving and unsafely passing other vehicles on Highway 20.

Loose dogs were running around chasing things and unstacking pipes on Two Top Road.

An arrest was made for driving while possessing on Brady Street.

Someone called in a small fire with smoke on Cowan Rd and First Street.

Someone was swerving and going at various speeds on Highway 20.

An arrest was made for inattentive driving on Highway 20.

A report for property damage was made when snow fell on a vehicle during plowing on Church Lane.

A tree was down on Yale Kilgore Road.

May 27

Ashton

A person reported men he had made a contract with to thin out his trees were selling them to the wrong people for less money than agreed.

Island Park

Someone heard 8 shots coming from the forest service area on North Big Springs Loop Road.

A vehicle was speeding and passing in the no passing zone.

An arrest was made for open container on McCrea Bridge.

Someone reported garbage spread over the front of a cabin on Lone Tree Lane. The person calling guessed either a bear had gotten into it or it was leftover from snow melt.

A 15 year old girl was taken to Madison Memorial Hospital for stitched after her aunt's dog bit her on the face while camping in Island Park. 

May 28

Ashton

A vehicle passed on the wrong side of the road headed North coming into oncoming traffic and swerving on Highway 20. 

Someone reported seeing an explosion at Jolley Camper and RV. 

Someone called in a possibly intoxicated driver at Jacksons Food Store. The caller reported the vehicle had driven from Marysville and almost went off the road before pulling into Jacksons. 

Island Park

An ambulance was called for a 35 year old woman at Red Rock RV with a ruptured hernia.

Police were called for a rollover near the top of Federal Hill.

Someone called to report a black 4 wheeler off the side of the road in a ditch.

An ambulance was called for a 51 year old woman with a high heart rate.

May 29

Ashton

An unsafe driver was reported driving in the middle of the lanes headed South on Highway 20.

Island Park

Flooding was reported between Winchester and Enchanted Forest on the roadway.

Two audis were reported racing headed North on Highway 20 near Shotgun.

Two dirt bikes were tearing up the road and digging trenches with the bikes in the woods off Red Rock Road. 

Police stopped a vehicle for having an open container on Buttermilk.

An arrest was made during a traffic stop on Moccasin Road.

Someone called police asking for help removing brother from cabin for causing a disturbance on Yale Creek Road. 

May 30

Ashton

Jacksons food store reported a contractor had stolen a gun out of their garage.

Island Park

A noise complaint was called in for people playing music and talking loudly in a hot tub on Arangee Lane.

Three slide offs and an accident were reported in Island Park.
