June 13 

Island Park

Police responded to a tree blocking the road on Red Rock Road. 

A reckless driver was called in headed south on 20 near Elk Creek.

Someone reported a car speeding and weaving in and out of oncoming traffic. 

A cabin owner called police to let them know she could see a stream of water by her shed of her cabin on Sand Creek Road and wasn't sure who to call for help if its flooding or the water is backed up.  

Ashton

A man was thrown out of a car near Highway 20. The caller told police the man was lying on the side of the road and had blood coming out of his nose but was able to speak.

Police responded to a vehicle stuck in the snow on Flag Ranch Road. 

Police assisted a person who locked their keys in the car on Karen Lee Lane.

June 14

Island Park

Two vehicles were reported abandoned at Stamp Meadows.

Police responded to a vehicle stuck in muddy snow at Flat Canyon Road

Flooding and water on the roadway was reported at Duck Creek and Red Rock Road.

A welfare check was done on a car with a smashed window pulled over on the northbound side of Highway 20 near Robins Roost. 

Someone asked to file a complaint against a Bed and Breakfast owner on Lariat Road who had failed to tell them about road work that would keep them from going in or out for hours. 

Ashton

Police were called to help someone who was locked out of their car at Ashton Elementary School.

Two county employees were reported speeding on Highway 20 headed south pulling a trailer with rocks flying off the back.

June 15

Island Park

An arrest was made for driving while possessing on Yale Kilgore and Highway 20.

A garbage truck traveling west was reported to not have a tarp on the portable dumpster and trash was blowing out near Last Chance.

An ambulance was called for a man having chest pain and a hard time breathing on Sherwood Lane.

A 76 year old man fell and had pain in his left hip and pelvis and leg. 

Five vehicles were reported parked in a no parking zone on Sawtelle Peak Road.

A woman reported she sprayed herself with bear spray while camping off Red Rock Road.

Homeowners in Aspen Heights reported a contractor who took $10,000 worth of product and won't answer his phone. 

June 16

Ashton

A woman reported a woman had left her child in a parked vehicle outside Daves Jubilee for more than 10 minutes.

An arrest was made for possession of a controlled substance in front of the North Fremont High School.

Island Park

A semi was reported going 65 mph in the 45 mph zones and passing cars in turning lanes and going into oncoming traffic.

An ambulance was called for an 82 year old man who passed out at Timbers.

A man by Elk Creek Station was letting his dog run loose in the parking lot. He told employees he doesn't care if the dog gets hit and then left on his motorcycle.

Big Timber Storage off Yale Kilgore Road filed a police report for flood damage. 

Someone reported people illegally floating above the Big Springs boat launch near Johnny Sacks cabin.

A vehicle hit an animal on Highway 20.

June 17

Island Park

An ambulance was called when a rock fell on a woman and knocked her unconscious off Old Highway 191.

Extra patrol was assigned to North Big Springs when offroad vehicles were reported going over 40mph.

An accident was reported on Big Springs Loop.

An ambulance was called for a 66 year old man who fell and hit his head.

Ashton

A man filed a police report that his girlfriend was taking items including guns from his fathers house who had just passed away.

A dead deer was reported on the side of the road on Highway 20.

A hit and run was reported at the travel plaza.

June 18

Island Park

An ambulance was called for a 76 year old man having shortness of breath who recently had heart surgery for heart failure.

People were shooting in the gravel pit off Cowan Road which runs near an ATV trail. 

A moose was walking in the middle of the road by the dam turn off. People were taking pictures with it. 

A bald eagle was found dead off North Fork Summerhomes.

Ashton

An ambulance was called for a 71 year old man with severe pain in his sternum at Aspen Acres RV Park. 

A 6 year old boy was hurt in a rollover accident in Marysville.

A man in Utah called police to report he watched someone run a power cord from the pole on his property to the cabin next door on video on Carlson Lane.

June 19

Island Park

A dog was acting aggressive toward people, approaching with bared teeth, on Daisy Lane.

A family called police when stranded while floating the river at Henrys Fork from the Big Springs boat launch. The family got out of the river because of heavy rain and was stranded. 

A 9 mm pistol was found at Big Springs Campground.

30 head of cattle were reported by Stone Gate.

An ambulance was called for a 74 year old man with chest pain and throwing up who was alone with his service dog.

Ashton

A vehicle hit an elk that ran off on Highway 20.

People were shooting guns in the Pole Bridge Campground. 

June 20

Island Park

A reckless driver was reported on Highway 20.

Police assisted parents of a baby who was locked in a vehicle at Ponds Lodge.

A welfare check was called in for a 78 year old man who was not answering his phone at a cabin on Totem Road.

Ashton

An ambulance was called for a man having chest pains who had had a heart attack previously.
