October 10

Island Park

A black cow was reported outside the fence on the East side of Highway 20.

October 11

Island Park

A welfare check was requested for a woman's 35-year-old husband who camping somewhere off Red Rock Road while hunting and hadn't been heard from in 8 hours. 

October 12

Ashton

A man in a truck went off the side of the road at Grandview and Fisherman's drive. The caller reported the truck was tipped to the side on the edge of the road and he was worried the truck will tip onto Fishermans Drive. 

A semi headed South on Highway 20 was swerving and passing in the turning lane and tailgating near Last Chance. 

An ambulance was called to the Rankin Motel when a woman in her 60s fell and blacked out.

A vehicle was reported swerving and speeding down Idaho Street.

Island Park

A semi hit an elk just south of Valley View on Highway 20. 

An ambulance was called to transport a 37-year-old man with back pain from the Island Park Medical Clinic to EIRMC.

Four black cows were reported on Highway 20.

October 13 

Ashton

An ambulance was called for a woman with bad abdomen pain on Highway 20. 

A parking complaint was called in for a truck parked on 3500 E overnight near the railroad tracks and partially on the road. 

Police were called to help a vehicle on Highway 20.

A shooting was reported on 1300 North . Shots were fired from a car which then drove away toward Ashton.

Island Park

Someone reported seeing smoke on the west side of Highway 20 slightly north on the flats from Sawtelle. 

A vehicle was reported on an ATV trail with its brights on on Yale Kilgore Road.

Someone reported an attempted break-in at his property on Southshore Drive. The caller added they may be casing the neighborhood because cars have been driving very slowly through it.

An ambulance was called for a 32-year-old man who had a big fire going in Box Canyon and tripped and fell with his back and arm in the fire. 

A woman reported a bear tried to get into her home on Mountain View Drive by tearing the screen off her front window.

October 14

Ashton

A truck almost took the bumper off a semi when passing while headed South on Highway 20.

Island Park

A man at Box Canyon called to report a possible psychotic break. He reported wanting to cut off his leg with a Sawzall.

A dead deer was reported in the Eastbound Lane of Highway 87.

October 15

Ashton

An arrest was made for battery after a man called police asking for help and then disconnected.

Island Park

A car hit an animal on Highway 20. 

Assault was reported on Bootjack Drive when a drunk friend of the caller assaulted him and his cousin. The caller stated there were kids there as well.

A vehicle was reported driving with no taillights on Highway 20. 

A welfare check was requested for a suicidal man at a campsite. The man had just been released from the hospital psych ward and called his father to tell him he was going to go into the fire at the site and he might hurt himself in order to get drugs and that he wants to kill himself so he isn't a danger to others.

A man reported being locked out of the AirB&B he had been staying in on Sand Crane Road. He told police he saw a person inside the home as well.

October 16

Island Park

An accident was reported on Highway 20. The caller reported he hit something on his front-end passenger side but wasn't sure what he hit.

A truck was reported pulling a horse trailer with no lights on headed North on Highway 20.
