  September 12 Ashton A hay truck dropped a hay bale off his trailer in the middle of 1200 North. Island Park A man lost his pistol on FS Road 455 when he set it on the bedrail of his truck. A semi stalled when his air brakes went out on Highway 20 in the Northbound lane near Pinehaven. An arrest was made for inattentive driving on Highway 20. September 13 Ashton Someone reported smelling marijuana from a vehicle that could not maintain its lane on Highway 20 headed North.  A truck was reported going 90 mph down the Ashton Hill. Cows were reported loose by Loosli Cellars. Island Park Someone reported a truck off Highway 20 that had been parked off the side of the road in the trees for about a month. A road rage incident was reported on Highway 20 when a woman accidently had her brights on and a truck in front of her slammed on his brakes and stopped in the road.   September 5 Ashton Traffic was backed up halfway up the Ashton hill headed South. People were driving too fast and unsafely. A brown chocolate lab was reported loose at Spruce and Highway 20. Island Park A group of adults with children were burning their trash outside on Yale Creek Road.  A girl in a pickup truck was reported sitting on the fog line on Highway 20, possibly broken down, on her phone, with her hazards flashing. September 6 Ashton A diesel truck was reported stopped on Highway 20 with no flashers or hazards. A death was reported on 3700 East.  An accident was reported on Highway 20 when a truck went off the road. Island Park A man reported seeing something in the river down from coffee pot rapids on drone footage he shot over the weekend. Anglers Lodge

  Anglers Lodge and River Front Restaurant sits on the banks of the Henrys Fork of the Snake River. Guests staying at the lodge or eating outside on the deck can enjoy the beauty of the sunshine sparkling on the water and the birds singing. “We want it to be a place people can relax and hear the birds when they fly by and watch the fish rise,” Manager Cory Inouye said. “We want it to be an experience.” Guests come from all over to fly fish or visit Yellowstone or both and enjoy the calming effect Anglers has always had. “Anglers is one of those places that’s kind of a haven,” Inouye said.  The lodge was built in 1997 by Dave and DeDe Eby. The family owned and run business was one of many businesses that suffered a hard blow during COVID-19. They were forced to close the restaurant for 2 years and had a difficult time finding staff.
